Experience Esperance Tours

Want to see both surf and turf? Then the Town Explorer tour is for you. A ride around the town and environs which will see you engaging with the locals with waves, cheers and smiles.

You will find us on the foreshore at the Whale Tail where you will meet the crew and your guide, who will stay with you for the duration of your tour. Alternatively, we can pick up from any location or accommodation in Esperance town and be dropped back there after your tour.

We start with a visit to the Rotary Lookout on Signal Hill and give you time to climb the few steps to view the Bay and the town, letting you see a sample of the fine coastal scenery. A short ride along the coast, with a stop for a photo opportunity before we head back into town, through local suburbs and along our iconic foreshore. You may choose to get off at any point in the town or return to where we started.

We travel about 32 km in the best environments that Esperance has to offer, giving you the opportunity to see what makes this such a special place. And we do this at a pace so typical of life here - relaxed but with the clear purpose of making your holiday a memorable one.

We visit the Rotary Lookout on Signal Hill and give you time to climb the few steps to view the Bay and the town and give you a foretaste of what is to come. Then it is an easy drive / ride along the coast, taking in the breathtaking bays and beaches of West Beach, Blue Haven and Salmon Beach. With plenty of stops on the way you will have ample opportunities for photo-taking to create memories which will last a lifetime. Next it is on to the romantically named Twilight Beach and a chance to dip your toes in the crystal-clear water and wriggle your toes in the finest sand you will have felt. The tour then follows the coastline with a stop at the Esperance Wind Farm, Observatory Point, before stopping and enjoying the pristine beach views at the iconic Eleven-Mile Beach and, for those feeling more athletic, a walk down the stairs to the lagoon.

The tour then follow the inland way past our beautiful local Fauna and Flore with a stop at the Lake Spencer (Pink Lake) lookout and head towards Section Glass gallery to feast on some of the beautiful work done by Cindy Poole where you have got time for a coffee and then continue your tour to Mermaid Leather Australia’s only specialist fish and shark leather tannery.
Then it is on for the last stretch back along the main road to Esperance, passing the now-legendary Whale Tail, before our return to where we started. Then it’s the chance to share your experience with your friends.

We visit Cape le Grand beach, Thistle Cove, Hellfire Bay, Frenchman’s Peak and then last the most beautiful and spectacular Lucky Bay itself one of the most gorgeous places, where the water is a spectacular blue, lovely and clear with the whitest squeaky clean fine sand in this absolutely stunning location. the best environments that Cape Le Grand National park has to offer, giving you the opportunity to see what makes this such a special place. Enjoy a glass of whine or a coffee whilst relaxing in a chair on the beach watching the very friendly kangaroos that come down onto the beach and are happy to be patted and share a photo .

The tour then heads back to Esperance to finish the day.

This time of year see Southern Right Whales migrate along the Esperance coastline, often with calves at their side. Wharton Beach.
